Hey everyone! Today, I have the pleasure of revealing the cover of Umbertouched, the sequel to Rosemarked by Livia Blackburne! If you know me, that you know that I really enjoyed Rosemarked and its unique plot and creative characters! Because of this, it is no surprise that I jumped on the idea of being able to reveal the cover and summary of its sequel! So for the moment that you have all been waiting for.....
the cover of Umbertouched!
Beautiful isn't it? I love all the different tones of umber in it because it really is cool how so much can be represented with just a few splotches. Like the cover of Rosemarked, this cover also gives off the effect of water color splotches that make it look and feel like it has texture. What I also love about this cover is that the splotches kind of look like smoke rising from the distance. Maybe there will be a giant fire in this one? Maybe it will take place in Zivah and Dineas's home in the mountains? We will only know once Umbertouched comes out!
Now, onto the summary of Umbertouched! If you have not yet read Rosemarked, do not read this next part because you will be spoiled!
Coming November 6, 2018
The mission was a failure. Even though Zivah and Dineas discovered a secret that could bring down the empire, their information is useless without proof. Now, with their cover blown and their quest abandoned, their only remaining hope is to get home before Ampara brings the full might of its armies against their peoples.
As Shidadi and Dara alike prepare for war, Zivah and Dineas grapple with the toll of their time in the capital. After fighting alongside the Amparans against his own kin, can Dineas convince the Shidadi—and himself—where his loyalties lie? After betraying her healer’s vows in Sehmar City, can Zivah find a way to redeem herself—especially when the Dara ask her to do the unthinkable? And after reluctantly falling in love, what will the two do with their lingering feelings, now that the Dineas from Sehmar City is gone forever? Time is running out for all of them, but especially Zivah whose plague symptoms surface once again. Now, she must decide how she’ll define the life she has left.
Together, healer and warrior must find the courage to save their people, expose the truth, and face the devastating consequences headed their way.

Hey everyone! Today I’m helping unveil the cover for Deception So Dark, the second installment of Clara Kensie's romantic YA paranormal thriller Deception So series! This book is the sequel to award winning Deception so Deadly which is about sixteen-year-old Tessa Carson whose family has been hunted by a telepathic killer, all her life. And being the only one in her family without a psychic ability, she is constantly followed by fear. After the Carsons flee to a new hideout, Tessa meets confident and carefree Tristan Walker who she instantly connects with even when she knows that she can never tell him her real name. But Tristan has secrets as well—secrets that will either save Tessa, or destroy her. The only way Tessa can save her family—and uncover the real reason they’ve been hunted all these years—is to forget everything she’s learned from a lifetime of running away, and run straight into danger head-on.
